A dedicated planer surfacer for timber jointing
Hand fed planer surfacers are available in a range of widths to suit your required working capacity. Long infeed and outfeed tables maintain accuracy when working with longer timber lengths. The Wadkin SJR surfacer features a tiltable fence and manually adjusted quick set infeed table.
Thicknessing timber to exact dimensions
A standalone thicknesser planes solid timber to an exact thicknessers. A motorised rise and fall table can be set to the required thickness using a digital key pad while powerful segmented serrated infeed rollers feed the workpiece through the machine. The Wadkin AT thicknesser is available in a range of widths and can also be specified with spiral or TERSA cutter blocks.
Save space with combination planer thicknessers
Where workshop restraints prohibit the use of a separate surfacer and thicknesser, a 2-in-1 planer thicknesser combines the best of both. For more compact spaces the Sedgwick PT, MB and CP models are a low cost option with manual adjustments.
