Following the success of the recently introduced Elcon QUADRA (the world’s first Vertical Beam Saw) Daltons Wadkin are pleased to add Nimac Horizontal Beam Saws to their range of panel cutting equipment.
“The Beam Saw market is already crowded and so it was important for us to find the right partner when entering into competition with some of the world’s largest woodworking machinery manufacturers” said Alex Dalton. “While we do have success with larger production companies, our main focus is offering a personalised and attentive service to small and medium sized companies who want the committed approach that only a family run business can offer.”
Also a family business, Nimac fit the Daltons Wadkin portfolio perfectly with a range of European manufactured Beam Saws aimed at small and medium sized companies. Now in their 35th year of Beam Saw production Nimac Group (previously Nikolaidis Machines) have seen sales increase dramatically in recent years, demanding relocation to a purpose built manufacturing facility in 2008.
The Daltons Wadkin philosophy is to offer equipment from the very best independent companies specialising in one product type.
While other manufacturers produce Beam Saws as part of an overall range, the sole focus of Nimac is in the production, continued development and backup of Beam Saws only, resulting in a product with cutting edge technology of the highest quality and at a very competitive price.
The Daltons Wadkin panel processing portfolio already includes Fravol Edge Banders and Point to Point Borers, Greda CNC Machining Centres and Elcon and Altendorf Panel Saws. All of these manufacturers are European family run companies specialising in one product type and, with the addition of Nimac Beam Saws, present a competitive alternative to other larger manufacturers.
