Daltons Wadkin has further expanded its training services with an additional full time trainer to cope with increasing demand for onsite and inhouse certificated operator training. All of the trainers at Daltons Wadkin have a minimum of 10 years hands on experience in the industry and equipped with suitable teaching qualifications to deliver over a dozen specific woodworking machine modules.
Training for novice learners, refresher training for experienced operators and specialised supervisor courses are all available and tailored to individual company needs. Courses are carried out either at customers premises or at Daltons Wadkin’s dedicated training facility in Nottingham.
‘As a long established and trusted name in the industry we take great pride in delivering the highest level of training services’, comments director Alex Dalton. ‘Operator training is arguably the most important factor when considering the impact of health and safety in one of the most dangerous industries. We have a responsibility to our customers to ensure the training we provide is relevant, up to date, delivered by experts and suitably assessed’.
Daltons Wadkin are continually honing the courses on offer to meet both customer and legal requirements. As a PIABC Quality Assured training provider customers can be confident that they will receive a professional service.
Certificated operator training is just one of the many Support Services offered by Daltons Wadkin to the woodworking industry that includes planned preventative maintenance, machine modifications and upgrades, tooling and spare parts, LEV testing and PUWER assessments.
