• Description

  The SCM Nova S 520 is a dedicated thickness planer with two speed powered table adjustment supported by 4 steel lead screws. The exact thickness can be precisely set using the numerical readout with micrometric adjustment. As standard the machine is fitted with a rigid steel feed roller, but can be configured with sectional feed roller for machining multiple pieces at once.

  As with all SCM thickness planers there is a choice of cutter blocks. The standard 4 knife HSS cutter block can upgraded to TERSA system or XYLENT spiral insert knife system for exception finish and reduced noise.
