• Description

  The SCM Olympic K 560 edgebander has been built for high performance and versatility. Aimed at companies needing continual processing of varied panels, the K 560 features NC controlled axes and feed speeds up to 18 m/min.

  Crucially for corner rounding, the K 560 is equipped with dual motors on the corner rounding unit to enable faster feed speeds while maintaining exceptional edge quality.

  The “SGP” glue pot helps achieve a perfect joint line thanks to the regulated application of adhesive through the special spreading roller. The use of EVA and Polyurethane glue is made possible by the anti-adherent plasma treatment and a fast and simple glue changeover.

  The SCM Olympic K 560 is available in four separate configurations.

  Composition “E” – Glue Unit, Guillotine, End Cutting, Trimming Unit, Glue Scraping, with space for 2 additional finishing units

  Composition “T-E” – Pre-milling, Glue Unit, Guillotine, End Cutting, Trimming Unit, with space for 2 additional finishing units

  Composition “ER2” – Glue Unit, Guillotine, End Cutting, Trimming Unit, Corner Rounding, Glue Scraping, with space for 2 additional finishing units

  Composition “T-ER2” – Pre-milling Glue Unit, Guillotine, End Cutting, Trimming Unit, Corner Rounding, Glue Scraping, with space for 2 additional finishing units

  Control units

  As standard, the SCM Olympic K 560 is supplied with the “Touch 7” electronic control with 7” touch screen colour display (16:9) with graphical simulation of the working process.

  The optional “StarTouch” replaces the “Touch 7” with an intuitive 12” colour touch screen complete with graphical simulation of the working units and 100 customisable working programs.
