The SCM Nova SI 400EP sliding table panel saw features powered rise, fall and tilt of the main saw and scoring saw unit. “READY” electronic control gives the operator programmable setting of the powered movements, automatic height adjustment according to blade angle, handy calculator and hour counter.
For the ultimate in quick, precision setting upgrade to the “READY 3” with powered programmable rip fence including digital position display, auto setting, incremental positioning and increased motor power to 9 kW. The “READY 3 UP” takes all this functionality and puts it in a convenient eye-level control panel putting all machine functions within easy reach.
As standard the machine is equipped with a 3200 mm aluminium sliding table riding on hardened steel guides which are fixed on the carriage via mechanical bending system. The carriage sliding system comes with a 10 year guarantee.
A maximum cutting depth of 140 mm is achieved through the 400 mm diameter blade capacity, powered by a 7 kW main motor. Blade speed can be manually selected from 3000/ 4000/ 5000 rpm to suit the type of work being processed. The independent scoring saw unit is powered separately via a 1.3 kW motor, and set using intuitive hand lever controls with quick stop for repeat adjustment.
