  • Description

Similar in design to the Nova SI 300, the SCM Nova SI 400 panel saw features a larger 400 mm diameter blade capacity with a maximum cutting depth of 140 mm powered by a 7 kW main motor. In addition, the machine includes an overhead crown guard for added protection and increased dust extraction efficiency making it ideal for both panel sawing and solid timber processing.

Supporting the panel throughout the cut is an anodized aluminium alloy carriage sliding on hardened steel guides, which are fixed on the carriage by means of mechanical bending system. A 10 year guarantee is provided on the carriage sliding system for total piece of mind.

The independent scoring saw unit is adjusted by user-friendly mechanical levers resulting in precise and smooth movements while useful mechanical stops identify the set position. Rise, fall and tilt adjustment of the main saw and scoring saw are done manually by means of handwheels on the machine front. Saw tilt angle is accurately set using the mechanical digital readout.

Top out your SCM Nova SI 400 with electronic digital readouts to the crosscut flip stops with fine adjustment, and electronic readout to the rip fence for guaranteed accuracy from job to job, operator to operator.
