• Description

  The Minimax SI 4 is the latest generation circular saw from SCM, replacing earlier models including the SC 4E, SI 315es and SI 400es. Built around a heavy-duty cast-iron saw unit with dovetail lift system, the SI 4 ensures unmatched stability and accuracy even under continuous use.

  Equipped with a tilting blade from 90° to 46°, the machine supports a wide range of cutting operations, while the precision sliding carriage guarantees smooth and reliable handling of large panels. The optional scoring blade unit allows perfect cuts on veneered or laminated boards, ensuring chip-free results.

  The machine can be configured with advanced options such as the READY electronic control system, powered rip fence, and expanded squaring frames to suit the specific needs of modern workshops.

  Thanks to SCM’s Thundercut App, operators can optimise cutting lists directly on a tablet, reducing material waste and streamlining production. With a 10-year guarantee on the sliding carriage system, the SI 4 offers long-term reliability and confidence.
