• Description

  The SCM Minimax C 410ES is a combination circular saw, spindle moulder and planer thicknesser in one machine. Mechanical digital readouts to the blade tilt, thicknessing table height and spindle moulder position keep work precise and repeatable.

  Planer Thicknesser

  The thicknessing table is manually adjusted, while the long 2200 mm surfacing tables provide support for the most demanding operations. The machine features. The machine offers a choice of three cutterblocks; high speed steel (HSS), “TERSA” or “Xylent”.

  A traditional HSS cutter block is supplied as standard. An optional “TERSA” cutter block can also be specified for fast knife changing with no set up required.

  For ultimate performance the optional “Xylent” spiralknife cutterblock with 3 series of knives is designed to give an exceptional finish. Reduced noise during machining provides a more comfortable working environment. It also improves the dust extraction due to the production of very small chips. Each cutter has 4 tips which can be rotated into the cutting position when worn. Therefore increasing the production life of the cutter block before knives require replacement.

  Circular Saw

  The CU 410ES features a 360 mm wide 2250 mm long aluminium sliding table. The 1200 x 650 mm squaring frame includes a crosscut mitre fence with 2 flip over stops and eccentric clamp. A dedicated scoring saw unit with independent motor is included as standard.

  The 350 mm maximum blade diameter with manual rise, fall and tilt adjustments has a projection of 117 mm at 90°.

  Spindle moulder

  Manual rise and fall spindle adjustment. Adjustable spindle moulder fence with micrometric adjustment, vertical and horizontal pressures. Also included is reverse spindle direction, and CD spindle speed indicators.
