Wood & Panel Machinery Exhibition 3 – 5 OCTOBER
Daltons Wadkin will once again be opening their doors to all existing and prospective customers during the first week of October when the company promises an even bigger and better show than ever before.
The event will take place in their extensive Nottingham showrooms and will feature a broad cross section of machine types from classical to CNC. Visitors will have the benefit of full working demonstrations on the company’s top brands including many never before seen models and features for solid wood processing, panel and composite processing.
Two programmable automatic crosscuts will be taking centre stage. The Salvador SuperPush 200 for straight cutting and SuperAngle 600 for angle cutting both feature powerful optimisation software and defecting facility as standard. The semi-automatic Classic 50 will also be on show as a compact, safe alternative to traditional radial arm saws.
The full range of Altendorf sliding table panel saws will be on show including the flag ship F45 with efficiency-boosting EvoDrive and CNC rip fence, WA80X with overhead control and powered rip fence, and the entry level WA6 model.
Specialist vertical panel saw manufacturers Elcon will be represented with the 155D model and the popular 155DS model with electronic digital readouts for customers to try.
Edgebanders from CEHISA will include the cost effective Flexy and advanced Pro-12 model highlighting the broad range available as well as key features such as DUO-MELT glue pot, pre-milling, corner rounding and automatic unit setting.
The all new Kimla BPF CNC router will be exhibited for the first time in the UK. Design modifications and tweaks to both the performance and aesthetics have further refined this already highly capable CNC machine. The intuitive PC-CAM software will be on demonstration featuring a complete CAD/ CAM solution with nesting options suitable for use in a wide range of industries including kitchen and furniture manufactures, sign makers, shop fitters, point of sale manufactures, aerospace and automotive sectors.
Moving onto solid timber processing, a range of 4 and 5 head Kuper planer moulders will be on display. Customers will be able to explore the benefits of the new quick set K2 touch screen control and automatic programmable head positioning with working demonstrations in partnership with Oertli tooling.
Daltons Wadkin are excited to announce the unveiling of a new Stenner band resaw model. Building on the industry standard ST100R the new model will feature variable blade speed control, increased motor power and programmable fence positioning all controlled though a free standing operator console.
In addition to the UK manufactured Wadkin C700 bandsaw and BRA crosscut, the new Wadkin MX220 spindle moulder and CST combination planer thicknesser with spiral insert cutter block will also be on display.
For more advanced spindle moulding the new Houfek F250 will be on demonstration featuring powered rise, fall and tilt adjustment, inverter speed control, automatic table insert setting and overhead control panel.
The Daltons Wadkin team will be on hand to provide technical and sales support together with manufacturers’ personnel and a representative from UK Asset Finance who will be available to discuss attractive finance packages. The show will be open from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm from 3rd to 5th October and visitors are welcome to call without appointment. If however a demonstration on a specific machine is required it would be helpful if advance notice could be given.
