Pusher system
High powered servo driven pusher scans and feeds material up to 180 m/min
The pusher arm incorporates an optics system that scans as it is loaded onto the machine, measuring and looking for defect markings. The heavy duty carriage is powered by a brushless servo drive and high precision toothed belt running on twin external rectified guides for maximum durability. Timber lengths can be fed individually or stacked in packs for maximum throughput.
Saw unit
Fully enclosed saw unit keeps operators away from the cutting area and harmful dust
A series of electro-pneumatic clamps align the material square against the fence before and after the cut while the top pressure guard descends to further secure the workpiece as the sawblade rises through the cut. The cutting time can be easily regulated to suit different types, thicknesses and stacks of timber to ensure clean and efficient processing. Two points of extraction above and below material provide excellent dust capture at the point of cut.
Outfeed handling
A host of options are available to help manage finished material and remove waste
A choice of static outfeed tables, tilt/ return tables for stacked material or automatic individual piece ejection will help integrate the Salvador into your production flow and ensure maximum efficiency with minimal operator input. Waste trap doors can also be configured to remove offcuts before reach the outfeed. Label printers and direct inject printing options can also be added to manage stock.
