The Daltons Wadkin service team consists of dedicated and fully qualified engineers, electrical specialists, CNC engineers and machine installers and their sphere of operation includes pretty much everything from small classical machines to resaws, planer moulders and CNC machining centres. All are fully mobile, equipped with the latest communications technology and look after a wide range of customers including public authorities, government departments, Ministry of Defence and colleges and universities as well as timber merchants and sawmills, furniture and joinery manufacturers and indeed almost anyone who machines timber.
In addition Daltons Wadkin employ an operator training team who again travel the length of the country providing on-site certificated training to woodworking machine operators as well as providing the same facilities in the Daltons Wadkin in-house training workshop which is permanently available to prospective trainees and equipped with a set of state of the art classical machinery.
Operator training is an increasingly important activity for Daltons Wadkin who have seen the turnover in this sector double in the last 12 months. In addition to this service the company also carry out on-site health and safety checks on existing machinery and equipment as well as providing risk assessments and PUWER advice.
