Resulting from a recent agreement between Daltons Wadkin and Italian Multi Rip Saw manufacturers CML the first machine is due to arrive at the company’s Nottingham showrooms in early April and will be featured and demonstrated at the Daltons Wadkin open days scheduled for 29 April to 2 May.
CML Engineering srl manufacture a wide range of Multi Rip Saws from the basic J250 for the smaller workshop to moving blade machines and double spindle edgers with capacities of up to 1200 mm board width and 250 mm depth of cut. The model to be featured in the Daltons Wadkin open days is the J350R which although competitively priced incorporates movable saws and will be demonstrated throughout the open day period.
CML are specialists in multi rip equipment and since 1969 have been exporting their machines throughout the world. The company also offer automatic materials handling and sawing machines bespoke to customers’ individual requirements plus infeed and outfeed systems designed to increase throughput and reduce operator fatigue.
A second multi-rip machine is shortly to be despatched from Italy and is destined for Masons Timber Products Ltd coincidentally, also in Nottingham. This is a model SCA450 3RT500 incorporating 3 moving blades for dealing with both cut edge and uneven edge timber. A high performance installation, the saw is part of a major production line with automatic throughfeed.
