Safety in F1 racing has come along way since the first World Championship race held at Silverstone in 1950. Today, safety extends far beyond the track and Daltons Wadkin are proud to deliver certificated operator training to the engineering teams at Mercedes-AMG.
The machinery covered includes high precision sanding, moulding and shaping equipment as well more traditional woodworking machinery used in the design, development and manufacture of world beating racing cars.
One of our ‘Red Team’ trainers was lucky enough to find himself celebrating with Lewis Hamilton and the rest of the Mercedes-AMG F1 Team at their headquarters in Brackley (look for the red shirt).
Clear laws are laid out in the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998 stating that all operators must receive adequate training, including refresher training. Daltons Wadkin provide tailored courses for experienced and novice operators on all types of woodworking machinery for groups large or small. Courses can delivered at the customers site or at dedicated training facilities in Nottingham.find our more about operator training
