  • Planned Preventative Maintenance Close

Daltons Wadkin provides Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) which is a schedule of planned maintenance operations aimed at the prevention of breakdowns and failures. The primary goal of our PPM is to prevent operator injury or the failure of equipment before it actually occurs.

As part of the PPM we carry out a multi-point check including safety features (guarding, stopping times etc) mechanical component checks and resetting of factory datum’s where applicable.

A detailed report is provided highlighting any potential problems that require immediate or future attention.

  • Operator Training Open

Poor supervision and inadequate training are two of the main causes of accidents. While it makes good business sense to make sure your employees are working efficiently and safely there is also a legal responsibility.

At Daltons Wadkin we offer a range of training programmes from basic familiarisation to certificated courses catering for all machine types and different operator requirements and skill levels. As well as for woodworking equipment, we also offer Portable Power Tool and Abrasive Wheel courses.

  • Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Testing Open
